Detra M. Betts, founder of BOSS Connections LLC, is a Leadership and Organizational Development Consultant with over a decade of nonprofit and community development experience supporting faith-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions in strengthening leadership capacity, improving organizational effectiveness, and navigating organizational change. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background in family studies, human services counseling, and strategic leadership, partners with organizations to develop sustainable systems, equip leaders, and advance mission-driven impact.
Experienced in strategic planning, leadership development, organizational assessment, trauma-informed leadership, grant development, community engagement, and collaborative partnership development, she assists leaders in strengthening systems, developing trauma-informed practices, and building organizational cultures rooted in trust, accountability, and resilience.
